Introduction to low NOx combustion technology

Time :2024-01-25 36

Since the 1950s, engineers have been studying the generation mechanism and control methods of NOx during coal combustion .

The research results show that the most important factor affecting the generation and emission of NOx is the combustion mode, that is, the combustion conditions.

Therefore, when the operating conditions of the equipment change, the NOx emissions also change. Combustion temperature, O 2 , NH i , CH i , CO, C and H 2 concentrations in flue gas are the most important factors affecting the generation and destruction of NO x . Therefore, the above factors are controlled by changing the combustion conditions to suppress NO x Measures to generate or destroy generated NO x to reduce NO x emissions are called low NO x combustion technologies.

Low NOx combustion technology are: mature technology, low investment and operating costs. In countries with very strict NOx emission requirements (such as Germany and Japan), low NOx burners are first used to reduce more than half of the NOx before flue gas denitration is carried out to reduce the NOx concentration at the entrance of the denitration facility and reduce investment. and running costs. Low NOx combustion technology is the most widely used, relatively simple, cost-effective method among various technologies to reduce NOx emissions , but they have certain limits for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. Since lowering the combustion temperature and reducing the concentration of oxygen in the flue gas are not conducive to the coal combustion process itself, various low-nitrogen combustion technologies must be used in a way that does not affect the stability of combustion and does not cause the reducing atmosphere to damage the heating surface. Corrosion, and not unreasonably increasing the carbon content of fly ash and reducing boiler efficiency, so choosing a burner with excellent cost performance is one of the key factors.
