What is Ladle heater?
Ladle heater, also known as ladle roaster or ladle baking device, is one of the indispensable thermal equipment in the steel production process. It is mainly used to heat and dry the ladle (container for holding and transporting molten steel) after it is newly built or before it is filled with molten steel to avoid the generation of explosive steam when the molten steel contacts the wet ladle wall, ensuring the quality of the molten steel and production safety. Ladle heater can raise the temperature of the inner wall of the ladle to hundreds of degrees Celsius to prevent the molten steel from cooling too quickly, while also reducing the temperature difference between the molten steel and the ladle wall, extending the service life of the ladle.
