Low-nitrogen burner is a general term for a burner that reduces nitrogen oxides through technical optimization based on ordinary burners. In essence, low-nitrogen burners use a technical improvement to control the combustion process. When designing, in addition to considering factors such as power output and material temperature resistance, various methods will be used to reduce the influence of various generation factors in response to low nitrogen needs, so as to achieve lower NOx emission values, such as:

1. Through grading, segmentation, and concentration-type matching, the air and gas ratio deviates from the chemical equivalent ratio in the local space and a certain stage of combustion, which can effectively control the local flame temperature and reduce the generation of thermal NOx;

2. By improving the mixing effect, such as premixed combustion, when the air and gas mixing effect is better, the flame thickness in the high-temperature zone can be minimized to the greatest extent, and the travel distance and residence time of the flue gas in the higher temperature zone can be reduced. , thereby reducing the generation of thermal NOx;

3. Through the flue gas recirculation method, the combustion flue gas is used for reflux mixing to reduce the oxygen content in the flue gas. Excessive N2 and combustion products will also reduce the maximum flame temperature, thereby inhibiting the generation of NOx. This is one of the more commonly used methods on boilers at present;

4. By dividing the flame area, it can avoid the generation of too concentrated flames and reduce the reaction residence time;

According to the above methods of reducing NOx, low-nitrogen burners are roughly divided into the following categories: stage burners, self-recirculation burners, thick and thin burners, split flame burners, mixing promotion burners, low NOx pre-combustion chamber burners, etc.

The difference between low-nitrogen burners and ordinary burners lies in the following two points:

1. Enhance the heat transfer performance of the boiler, improve thermal efficiency, reduce boiler operating costs, and reduce expenditures;

2. The purchase cycle of a new boiler is long, and the waiting time is long, which affects production, while low-nitrogen transformation only requires a short period of construction to complete the transformation, saving time.
